Got 1 Mac I've been debating where to put. It's been in the pot. I think there's more roots than soil....

What to do. I'm leaning on putting it in real dirt before fall escapes me.

Roots are not circling the pot but the core is pure root

Should I leave it alone and just plant in dirt

Sipe the sides

or...

SIPE the sides real deep to encourage roots to go out and about instead of the *root plug* that it is in. When I bout it , it was rootbound already, and when I transplanted it into a container 4X it's volume, I just siped the sides .

I do think the centermass is too rooty
