Master Bath Remodel

We are in the middle stage of our master bath remodel. We had builder grade cabinets, garden tub and pan shower. Also carpet on the floors, yuck. We switched out the shower and tub locations and did a total gut job and everything is new. Here are some before and in progress shots.

Old garden tub. Since we are moving the shower here, our first step was to replace the clear window with obscured glass.

We have two separate vanities, this is the smaller one. The other one was on the other side of the tub. These are fiberboard stock cabinets. The vanity lights were just awful. and the huge mirrors were too much.

The original shower stall. Nice size, but old and yucky. Our contractor said there was regular drywall behind the tiles. No wonder we had mold issues on the caulk.

Demo

The new tub. The spot for the old shower was perfect for a 60" tub. I wanted a deep soaker and went with the American Standard Evolution. The tub drain was a problem as it took forever to get here and then the first one was defective.

The paint. I was nervous about the deep grey, but it looks great.

Shower with bench. The three remaining sides with be glass walls and doors

Shower floor. All time is porcelain marble look.

Tub surround is polished porcelain which will also be in the shower.
