Hi!
I am remodeling a small 900 sq foot house and need to find a light paint color that will compliment most or every room of the house (kitchen, living room, hallway, bedrooms, maybe the bathroom too). The floors are going to be a light knotted maple wood (Manhattan Maple) and the kitchen is white shaker style cabinets with a white/gray marble style granite countertop. I'm looking at gray options but don't want it to be too dark in such a small house, but also don't want it too light where it just looks like white paint. The trim on the floor will be white along with the crown molding near the ceiling. A few options I've looked at are Sherwin Williams - Ice Cube, Rhinestone, and Drift of Mist. I lean toward the more blueish tones but at the same time would like a softer look and not too sterile. My style is pretty modern but I love the scandanavian look. I am open to other suggestions outside of the gray family too as long as they not too dark. I want to keep it light and airy. Thank you!!
