they can be here to stay if you like them. Granted: gray was not much on the radar until recently. Home furnishings have had a solid intense run with gray interiors.....the timeline of gray kitchens isn't clear when it started : before , during or after the other interior décor theme of "gray". The interior décor use of gray will definitely die out or morph into something else. Kitchens tend to remain in place a lot longer. There have been some really good looking gray, mixed with wood or white in the kitchen space. I think if you like it, executed it tastefully.....it could be something for the long haul. I do not like ALL gray …..and it seems challenging to insert gray in a mixed element format. My bet is ALL GRAY kitchen cabinets in a space will not endure . But it really depends.

If gray is honestly the best choice for your kitchen, it will always work. If gray is your choice because you like the color and it's what you see everywhere, then I don't think gray will have staying power. No one can look at Anglophilia's gray kitchen and wonder if a trend influenced it- it looks classic and right for its space- it is, btw a pretty pale gray. If you are having doubts, keep searching.
