That's amazing list. It's very hard to find more the 2 or 3 varieties in CA. If you still have some in the spring I'll buy a few. I do not have room at the moment.

Brian, I am still here!!!! Just a little bit tired from all the chemo sessions and the weather! November never agreed well with me and I find myself falling asleep very easily. Brian, so good to hear from you. How are you doing these days? Your trees must be load with near ripening fruits now!!!! My shiranui has two cute little fruits and I really hope that they won’t fall. My meyer lemon and Persian lime are by far the most productive! My santa teresa is still growing agressively but no flower!!! The SugarBelle I got from Dany last summer is pushing out new growths too!! My two gold nugget are growing so so slowlY. I think that I will have better lucky if I start to ignore them!! How is your variegated minneola doing? Do you have any flowers yet?? Oh I can’t wait to see the variegated fruits!!!! Brian, weren’t you looking for a bergamot last spring??? Lolll...

Hello Amy soooooo glad to hear from you !!!!. Other than being tired so glad that your doing well !!!!. Lol Amy November never sat well with me also and I to just feel like sleeping the month away . I think things will get better once there is snow on the ground. Gorgeous day today and I've been seeing bee's flying around. I heard Gold Nuggets are a bit slow on the take offs but when they start they grow like nuts so I wouldn't worry to much . The Sugar Belle I got from Dany is growing so fast and its on dwarf rootstock it's as tall as me , I could just imagine on standard . My VM only had the one flush it's very quiet right now but looks super healthy. Amy my Tango is growing like a weed it's flushing with flowers and branches. We've been eating the Tango's from the tree and are they good . Speaking of Tango are you going to order one from Dany? Christmas is just around the corner maybe some early Christmas gifts lol ? Dany has so many great varieties but sad to say I almost have every variety me bad . I really have been holding off for a Daisy or Ortanique I figure I have room for one more tree and that's pushing it . Glad to hear all your tree's are doing well and I know its not easy growing them indoors but sounds like your doing a terrific job!!! Hang in there Amy November will soon be over and spring is only 5 months off . So glad you wrote!!! I was a wee bit worried , you made my weekend!!!! Now make that call get that Tango :-)

Who is the citrus nursery grower? I like knowing that information as I purchased a tree from a particular grower and it doesn't grow well so never again.

Denise, I believe that the citrus grower is briteleaf. I bought a few last summer and they do very well for me so far!

Brian, I saw that tropic of canada just launch their citrus pre order event and they have the ortanique!! Lolll Brian!!!! Now that you mention it, I really need a Tango now!!! How is your kishu doing? Last time you post about it, it had flowered so I am curious if you taste any fruit from it yet.

Oh no Amy lol. Amy how did you check the list of citrus Tropic of Canada are bringing in, was it through email? Amy you will love the Tango they seem to grow and bloom continuously. I have fruit on my tree right now at all different stages. Christmas came early again this year right ?:-)

I just received a dwarf variegated minneola from Brite Leaf. It has a crooked graft and a crooked canopy. So far I am not impressed with it.

Denise, I am sorry to hear about your crooked variegated minneola. Is it the one that doesn’t have the three colors variegation? I didn’t know that briteleaf has variegated minneola in stock. I never saw it on their website. Interesting...

HAHA I so wish, bananas have taken over. I do have a couple in ground citrus plus the ones in containers. I used to grow flame grapefruit. By the time the tree died I had harvested about 4 or 5 fruit within a few years. BEST grapefruit I have eaten.

Amy, my mistake. It was not the minneola. It was a dwarf variegated pink Eureka. I purchased it strictly because they had it in a dwarf size and to get good selections of trees nowadays in dwarf sizes is difficult. I would have gotten it from FWG if it was a true dwarf like they used to do. FWG switched over to semi-dwarf rootstock which is what I really don't want.

Oh no not a Pixie to lol . Actually not positive but I think Pixie and Gold Nugget are very similar so don't need that one I think lol. Lot's of people think Daisy is #one so I have to have it even more than Ortanique. Thanks for the info Amy . My friend is moving this spring so much for that idea darn lol. Few things Amy lol sounds like Santa's list is going to be very large this year you will probably run out of ink writing it . I always say you have to treat yourself no one else will , go for it Amy!!!

Brian, I agree with you about Daisy! I must have on my list too but really really hard to find. I never saw it anywhere except on greenscape garden which is not a reliable place anymore. I just saw another bad review somewhere recently ( I think facebook). If you ever find a daisy somewhere else let me know!!! It will put an end to all the nights I dream about it loll.

Matt do you have any success bringing your banana trees to fruit here? The flavor must be amazing!!

Amy lol you know your citrus !!!!. Hopefully it will show up somewhere soon fingers crossed. Amy I haven't tried any Kishu's yet but I have a feeling very soon . Here is a pic of my Kishu she is in the process of shedding some older leaves the fruit's are now just turning a nice orange color.

Oh wow Brian!! Your kishu is gorgeous!! Let me know what you think about the fruits when you will taste them. They are supposed to taste like candies! Oh I hate it when my trees start to shred leaves. I am always afraid that they will die after that.

Lol Amy space lol where lol . The Kishu is in the doorway that's why it's loosing leaves, everytime I walk by it I'm knocking them off . Amy I used to panic when leaves dropped but now I know its a normal process so it doesn't bother me at all . Amy that is my variegated Minneola she's doing great hopefully I will get a couple of fruits off it next year . Amy I will let you know I heard Kishu's taste like orange candy Yum. Amy I bought that tree 2015 from a nursery in Winnipeg it was a small twig I can't believe how large it's become .

Brian lolll you´re right!! I didn’t notice that the door is just next to the kishu!! With all the stretching we must do to reach our plants we don’t need to do any yoga. I am pretty sure that a couple more years in this hobby and we will all have the body of some Greek gods/ goddesses. Think of it: we can sell calendar with our pictures on it!

Lol Amy that little squirrel has been shut out although there is a small chipmunk that manages once in awhile to squeeze under the door . Your Shiranui fruit look great your really going to enjoy those !!! . Amy I figure my Shiranui fruit will be ready by March they are large but very green . I so love the look of this fruit with their top hats so different from all others . I see Phoenix is almost ready for the great citrus pre order maybe Daisy and Boukhobza for you fingers crossed . We will see how much pressure Jan put on Gary for those babies .

Lol Brian! You make my heart skip a beat with your mention of boukhobza and daisy! I wish that it will be possible but I think that they order from four winds and I never saw those varieties on their website. How is your boukhobsa doing? With your excellent care, I have no doubt that it has double in size since the last time I saw it.

Amy I know how much you want a Boukhobza amongst other varieties lol really hoping Gary gets it in !!! My Boukhobza had just one flush this summer its the slowest of all my tree's , it worries me sometimes lol. I probably treat it better than all of my other trees combined maybe thats the problem . Tonight I through the doors open to the greenhouse its so mild out, the trees must be loving it and I better not find that squirrel in there lol . Phoenix brings in tree's from a few places including 4 winds , now I'm not 100 % sure of that but Jan would know . I miss Jan very much also !!!! I would love to see pics her new greenhouse.

Loll so true Brian! My trees seem to thrive on my begnin neglect! When I give them to much of my attention they start to shread their leaves so I learn to ignore them! Did you install the plumbing to have water in your greenhouse? I bet that it will be easier than to carry water from your house. Oh my god, I just can imagine how much water you need for all your trees. Wow, you must have some big muscles at the end of winter loll...

Brian do you have a fan in your greenhouse? How may hours do you let it run? I have a little fan in my grow tent but I only let it run for 2 or 3 hourd per day. I think is not enought.
