Help me finish?

So I just built on a mud room and garage. The door is mocha brown and my plan is to match the trim to the door color and stain the exterior wood of the addition and square on the front of the house. I was thinking a semi transparent but can’t figure out what color. Any help is appreciated!

No stain. Paint the same color as the rest of the house.

I see what you're going for, looks like a great start! My first thought was a clear stain but I think you need to make it look more intentional than that. I think a subtle honey color would look awesome! Here's some inspiration for stain selection:
