Damage caused by Comcast Infinity workers Update

I thought I would update you on the damage caused by Comcast/Xfinity workers. My neighbor had ordered Infinity by Comcast which left me with a cable line laying in my backyard for several months. When I came home in June, I found that they had buried the cable without notifying me. They did just enough to cover the cable, no grass seed was put down and they cut my Little Princess spirea in half basically killing it.

It took several months of me calling and emailing to finally get someone there to listen to me. By September I given a person to talk to and they sent someone over to take pictures, of course I wasn’t home when he or she came to look at them damage. So I waited a month before I contacted this person to find out what was going on. I was not able to reach him by phone but I left a voice message. Several more weeks went by and I heard nothing so I ended up having to work someone else. She was friendly and I even sent them the pictures I took of the damage. After almost a week I get an email stating that they could not see where they caused any damage and my claim was denied. I didn’t even know what to say. These people came into my backyard without so much as a word, cut up my lawn and killed my little princess spirea in the process. And then acted like they didn’t do anything. I never once received any type of notice to let me know they were coming.

So I contacted the FCC and filed a claim. It was a long shot but I had nothing to lose. Several days later another person from Comcast contacted me, they already had the pictures I sent to the previous person there. Today I got a call from the subcontractor (Comcast) that did the burying of the cable. A new Little Princess spirea has been ordered and it will be here next week.

Oh yea the neighbor who ordered the service moved out last week. Go figure.
