I live in a poorly designed home with very little storage, so I am always interested in hearing ideas on optimizing storage :) For example, the laundry room had no cupboards and there was no broom closet; the kitchen has a cupboard that goes around the corner so if I want X, I have to move out Y and Z first. Ugh. I could go on and on, but I'll spare you.

Take advantage of your vertical space. If you Google bike wall storage rack, you'll see a variety of solutions. Same with the tools and seasonal items. Put items where they'll be used. Is there space on the ceiling or upper walls of the parking space? That would probably be the best place to put all these items. The more user friendly, the better.

Since there does not appear to be a garage is there enough space in the front of the parking spaces to allow for storgae there built to match the house but enough space to hang bikes on the wall .There are some pretty cool wall storage ideas for bikes.
