Art and window treatments go a long way in brightening up a space and adding color. A large mirror would also be lovely. You have a wonderful space!

I am also a minimalist, and i think your room (while not exactly my style) looks lovely! I like all the furniture. I think you just need some visual interest at different heights - whether color or monochrome. Think: a rug in the sitting area. Some floor interest: a pouf somewhere, a big basket or bin with pillows and blankets, etc. Some higher interest: wall art, visually interesting floor lamps, a vase or orchid on the tables. Start slowly with a couple pieces of art. Don't do overkill because it's a beautiful room.

I agree it’s gorgeous space and that you shouldn’t add stuff for the sake of adding stuff. If I were you, I would pull the rug under the bed so end legs are on it. Then I would look for something for over the head of the bed, maybe one decorative item for the low chest against the wall, and a rug under the furniture in the sitting area. Live with that for a while and see what you think. Maybe it would be enough!

I would suggest some abstract colorful artwork to add color, but as others have said, don't overdo it...it's a great space.
