I'll guess that there's a religious reason for no showings. The house is nothing special, and a real mess.

My guess is the filth (and accompanying stench?) might put a buyer in danger of losing their religion.

A house in this condition will attract interest and will sell if the price is right in comparison to homes in clean, updated, move-in condition. Examine your price if you want to get movement on this house despite its condition.

Looks like a one owner house. They became elderly then...it went downhill.

Know nothing about the area. Exterior looks decent. Could remodel the interior pretty easily if you were willing to keep the railings. I would not rule it out if the price was right.

Nothing too bad about that house. New paint, new window treatments and flooring would transform it. IF the price is right.
