Gap in Tile - Advice

This is a first time DIY tile job and I need advice. We are remodeling bathroom and tiling tub walls. All was going great until....the edge. As you can see in pic we have a few big gaps....how do I fix or rectify to make it look somewhat normal. I realize now I should of removed immediately and replaced with a wider tile. Suggestions/advice to the novice tiler....appreciate it.

I would look at trim pieces...Depending on the style of the room, you might also look at a crown molding...you can get it in a styrofoam type of stuff now, so you don't have to worry about it being in the shower--HOWEVER, you will need to trim down the back of the shower area pieces so that the parts that are in the rest of the room sit flush against the wall.

Don't worry, this is a minor issue in the diy world. Looks like you did a good job on the tiling, otherwise, and next time, you know better :)

Or, you could choose this kind of profile (doesn't have to be this style, I just wanted to show you the attachment points), and, where it would continue around the rest of the ceiling from the shower, add fill trim that is the thickness of the tile+thinset flush with the lower edge (where it says "kl50" in the pic) in order to fill the gap that will happen if you were to have a continuous line from a tiled area to a non-tiled area. Of course this will be unnecessary if the tiled area is in an alcove...in that case you'll just have to mitre the outside corners...

You are going to regret the thin set that is still on the tiles. And be sure the grout lines are cleaned of mortar. Very difficult to get out. (I might speak from experience.)

I'm interested in what tile you used? They all look pretty flat the long ones in finding are all bowed.
