Like all the bedrooms have the same fan? No they don't all need to be the same..

The cabin we bought recently had ceiling fans with light kits in every bedroom, the living room, dining area, kitchen (yes I said kitchen), exercise room, and all porches. It’s the same fan in everywhere. I’ve alread started switching them out. In a few spaces we are replacing with lights only, no fan. And there will be different options in the bedrooms for the most part. On the porches I’m switching to plain black fans, no lights.

No, if they're in different rooms, they don't need to match.

We are installing 5 fans in our new house, the great room, office, master and guest bedrooms and patio. We've decided on a Maverick 3 blade wood fan in the great room and since it has retractable doors to the patio, thought the patio fan should match. However, I wasn't sure if the bedrooms and office could be different?
