Advice for cold night tomorrow

We are supposed to have two unseasonably cold nights…tomorrow and Friday night the low will be 34-36. Generally these temps only last a couple of hours per night. I have a Duranta and a Bird of Paradise, both in ~25 gallon pots that I have to put in the greenhouse during the winter months but that usually happens in December Or later.

They are both supposed to be ok down to 40 degrees. I would rather not have to move them in tomorrow because after this cold front passes our night temps will be back to normal for several weeks. Dies anyone have either of these plants do ok for short periods at these temps?
