Do you have space to turn the table? And maybe have the buffet under the window? You definitely could use some draperies. Simple panels with texture and pattern would be nice. I agree that a different chandelier would be better with your furniture and bar cart..

I love this room, It looks so fresh!

Agree with Mrs Pete; the chandy is too fancy for the dining furniture. I like the bar cart, but it may also be too fancy and it crowds the space. You could transfer your liquor to some crystal decanters and place those on the buffet if you get rid of the cart.

I would remove the rug, as the inset woodwork on the floor is special and the rug is too casual.

I would remove the runner on the buffet (maybe try it on the table if you really love it) and place a large piece of art over the buffet and add some live greenery to it. Or maybe a tall plant stand or potted tree in the corner to the right of the buffet, instad

Can you remove the shades on the window and hang, at ceiling height, some patterned drapery panels instead?

The room is too crowded. What's on the end opposite the window? Could you move the buffet to that end?

Yes, the chandelier is too big and fancy for the furniture.

No need for the runner on the buffet or the little what-not or salt and pepper shakers, doesn't fit with the room.

Yes art!

Thank you! Unfortunately, getting rid of the chandelier isn’t in the budget so I need to make it work. I was hoping there may some suggestions for curtains, tablecloth, chair covers or artwork that could help tie the room together (even with the chandelier).

I can definitely move the bar cart out. That is not a problem!

The other side of the room is an opening to a hallway.

Are there any light bulbs you can remove to minimize the visual impact? Just a thought. Or could you play with the length of the chain?

Paint the liquor cart a real color and change the pull.

Dark red?

Bright blue?
