Gray and white

I am having the same dilemma. I've been considering taupey green/gray/blue with either white or cream trim.

So many choices!

Would you add shutters on the windows on the front ?

Yes, I would add shutters…however, not vinyl ones attached to the siding. You want to make sure that the shutters fit properly and, at least, look real. Shutter dogs make give a nice touch.
