Do these horizontal cables pass inspections? Is it a safety issue with kids using them like ladders? Cause they look great!

Code requires cables to be no more than 4" apart. I typically specify 3.75". Railing must be at 42" high when deck to ground below is more than 30: tension on the plastic coated stainless wire system is generally a requirement dictated by the local jurisdiction. The system is great for views while sitting!
