Window in shower?

My bathroom has a generous bay window area where the bathtub is now. I want to remove it and put the shower in that space. However it has three functioning (opening out) windows and I am wondering what needs to be done to discourage damage to the windows and walls.
We live in Mississauga and may be open to hiring you to design the reno.

    The main thing you need to do is have a contractor take a look at the existing window and make sure it is sealed properly and no wood is going to be exposed when the bathroom is finished. This window has a quartz surround to protect against water.
