I like your husband's idea. I bet in a few days, you won't notice that it isn't centered over the lower cabinet and unless you point it out, I imagine that no one will notice or even care if they do.

Can the center piece (looks like make up area) be removed to allow the sink base to be moved? If so order a filler strip and move the cabinet to the right the necessary amount. It is hard when these things happen and slows down progress, but better in the end to fix it now if you can. We once had to removed the walls plumbing in a powder room it did cost and took a few extra days, but so glad we did it.

Love the sink but are you able to exchange it for one that is a bit smaller in size for the vanity seems to be taking up a lot of space. What is the size of your vanity? It doesn’t look like you have enough room to place the faucet unless you’re placing it on the wall or on the side of the sink??

Thanks for all the input. The sink has a faucet hole so that’s not a problem. The drawers and cabinet could have been smaller if we would have realized the sink wouldn’t be centered. It is a big sink. I think the solution is to get a smaller sink.

Yes even though the sink has a hole for the faucet it is too close to the wall and your counter would have to have an incision to line up with the sink and that won’t look good. I’m you came to that conclusion to change the sink. Good luck.
