Not a good spot for this. Try turning the table onto the diagonal so the cabinet could be centered on either wall.

@thinkdesignlive. Yes the position is awkward but I have tried every combination including diagonal. The table expands, and to make that easy this was the only spot that worked.

Well you could swag the fixture to the left so the whole grouping moves to allow the cabinet to be centered. If you absolutely love the cabinet it could be used in a bedroom for books or guest linens. It really doesn’t work there - no matter what color it is.

First, that table is not large enough for those 4 chairs. It appears to be about 36" and that's just not large enough. I would consider a 48" round table. That said, once you place a larger round table in the space, there will not be any space for a cabinet. Art or a mirror. Those are your choices.

I would move dining table with chairs out from the corner to center buffet on the feature wall.

Notice how is Alberto Off White/Blue rug combines all your colors: feature wall, wall and floor.

I would go with black gloss for buffet.

Thanks everyone. I ended up painting the cabinet and found a deal on chairs. The lighting still needs replacing but I can live with it for now.
