How to remove wiremold Plugmold outlet strip?

I remember having a time assembling the outlet strip now I have to remove it hopefully without destroying the wall.

So how do I remove the cover?

Google Wiremold Plugmold, you do not want to see the crud that is built up on my installation.

I have an open end that I can get a wedge into to force the cover off. I will not be reusing the plugmold so if I destroy it that will be ok. I just do not want to mess up the wall it is mounted on.

If the power strip in my garage is similar to yours, the cover is snapped on. Aluminum construction. Pry off the cover from the open end or compress (squeeze) the cover and remove. Then you may see fasteners, my fasteners were screws. Remove the fasteners, and the power strip can be removed from the wall.

Thanks Jim, the Plugmold is steel and will take some serious prying, luckily I have the open end to start with.
