The kitchen does not sound country and the table does what is your style?

An all white kitchen, hmm, just be aware that that has been around for a while already and has been on it's way out. But if that's what you're going to do, then I would not do gray subway tile. Gray is more on it's way out than an all white kitchen, and if you're not careful the gray will look dingy. I would stick with white in terms of color and then I would do a more interesting pattern with it then subway. In terms of the table, I would do a dark wood table top to break up all of that white. Antique white legs and chairs could work in terms of color, but make sure that dining set matches in terms of style as well.

I agree white kitchens are timeless and the rest do what you love not what some imaginary next owner will love. I would do an all wood table not that mix but like I said I have no idea what your style is.
