This is so pretty! Honestly, the current colour goes well. I'd be fine keeping it until the urge to paint overwhelmed me. (I hate to paint.) Alternatively, what's your toddler's favourite colour? Any colour can go in its lightest intensity. Benjamin Moore has a zero VOC paint, Natura.

I think the current color looks very pretty. I’d probably stick with something similar.

In the first photo on my phone it looks a lot like BM Feather Down and the second photo looks similar to BM Edgecomb Gray.

I think the color you have is nice and she will have many favorite colors over the years my parents did all the walls neutral sort of white but the wall behind my bed I could choose to have be my favorite color of the year along with new bedding.

I’d keep that same neutral you have to match whatever is close in the house. That room will probably want to look different in a year or two when the pink crib and toddler art is outgrown anyways. I think what’s in there now is so cute and not at all cookie cutter.

Our granddaughter chose BM Beach Plum 14 years ago for "her" room in our new home. Still loves it at 18. I love the way it changes with the days light.

Taupe or greige will hide the inevitable scuffs and you can use rugs curtains and accessories to keep it current with your child’s evolving taste!

Look at Benjamin Moore Balboa Mist, a lighter greigy color with slight lavender undertone in some lights. I used it in two bedrooms, very neutral but pretty.

I think sea salt or quiet moments would look lovely, very soothing

When I was a small child, my bedroom had plain white walls and old brown shag carpet. It was fine by me.

I'm not familiar enough with paint manufacturers to be able to name specific colors (nor do I have any brochures on hand), but I think a creamy pale gold/yellow would be lovely. Taupe or beige or greige seem too "neutral" and blah to me, especially for a kid's room. I'd go white before going taupe/beige/greige/gray. The creamy yellow will give you a cheerier room that can grow up with the kid and still be appropriate for any use of the room.

Yes, I’ve thought about a subtle wallpaper on the wall with the dresser as it is a bit bland. I am leaning toward warmer colors such as a low intensity and light value yellow or wheat color. I will check out the BM beigey colors suggested. I love the idea of (low value) mint or seafoam green, but the room already has a variety of colors and textures, so I’m hesitant to add more.
