Orchid Setup Progress

Good things are happening since my last post, “Startup Orchid Family.” The low humidity in my grow room (23%) has been wonderfully resolved by a warm mist humidifier (are we allowed to give make and model?) Top-fill, 1.3 gallon high-low setting with a humidistat. The instructions recommended starting on the highest level and working back. When the room topped 60% I figured it was time to dial back to find the sweet spot between 45-55%. The curtain rod which will hang my light fixtures was installed yesterday. Just have to stop by Lowes for some open-link chain and S-hooks. Fixtures and bulbs are on hand. The best news is first signs of growth since my plants arrived and were placed under the LED flood (3000K). The C. trianei seeding is sending out roots from a growth in progress and my Phal. schilleriana is rooting and spiking. Go team !!
