KA is good.

I find the reviews on AJ Madison and similar sites to be very helpful when choosing.

I'd join Costco and get their Visa card. Buying a frig from them with the card gets you 4 years of warranty. You'll probably need it. The current long-term reliability of reasonably priced refrigerators is at an all time low. I'd still avoid Samsung. Repair guys won't work on them and parts are often a long time in arriving. If you verify good service is available this would change.

Yale Appliance gives you the % of the units they sold for each model that needed service in the first year. For a Kitchenaid counter-depth French door model- - -26%.
