They were either too modern looking or they were glass and I was a little worried about using glass ones due to how often I've heard people having to clean them.

Anything you install will compete with the fixture over the table, which appears large for the table. It looks like you’re prepped for the pendants and the canopies will be inches from the recessed lights. Odd looking to me, I’d forget about pendants.

not working well with table fixture. Best to mimic or coordinate with round shape, but smaller , use the same dark metal finish. Matching hardware on cabinets isn't a formula here. If the table fixture stays....that is your theme to work with.

Morgan, I think a plain glass pendant like the second one I Photoshopped in your room would look fine. And one like that wouldn't be hard to keep clean. It's the bowl type that are a pain. Be advised, though, that those Edison bulbs don't give much light.
