    This is a beautiful material. it is a Leathered Granite. Negresco Leathered. I have another remodel that will have the same material featured again. It really adds to this kitchen.

    Oh. My. Goodness. Negresco is one of 2 black granites I'm considering. You just tipped the scale for me! It is just beautiful. Thank you! A final question: I've read conflicting things about leathered granite. Some sites say it is more porous and more difficult to clean because of the pitted surface. Any opinion on this?

    My clients love it! Cleans great with soap and water. You know, NEVER windex or softscrub or clorox wipes. The last few projects have chosen leathered.
