I am tempted to get a new bathroom vanity with a carrara marble countertop, but I keep reading how foolish it is to have marble in the bathroom. We have hard water here, and I understand that that is an important factor. If carrara marble is so bad for the bathroom, why is it used so frequently? Is it really that risky? If carrara marble is truly a bad idea, I have another option. Thanks!
