Lacanche range question

In all of your photos with lacanche ranges I noticed the lack of the factory supplied wall spacer to aid in venting. Can you get by without this? In my design it adds an additional 3 inches of depth to an already deep range and if it can be eliminated that would be helpful.
Thanks

There is actually a vent, it is just not noticeable in the photos. It runs lower than the grates and is located along the back of the range. I would recommend contacting frenchranges.com for more information. Hope this helps.

Hi, I just saw this! Yes you can also push your range all the way to the back wall as long as it is heat proof! We do recommend leaving space for airflow but you do not have to use the factory provided spacer. I can get into more details. Don't hesitate to email me at elisa@frenchranges.com
    Merci!

Hi Linda...surprised no one has asked about this tile yet. Can you please tell me what they are? Thanks again, Angela
