It’s interesting to see how different fabric choices change the whole feel of a piece. I think the first pic looks very Art Deco, the second one a little less so, the others not so much. Interesting project!

Wow.....I'm learning more about Going Modern. Color placement and block pattern has a great impact on the interpretation of modern......at least for me. :-) Was there a 'rule' that each person make the same block pattern in every box they received?

Sharon...there were no rules, UNLESS the owner of the box had specfic instructions written in the boxes. Based on the 10 boxes I did, there was little in the way of rules.

Here are the blocks I received back. I love the full or colorful blocks, the less dramatic blocks-not so much. if I do this again, I make restrict it to 3 colors only.... not sure.

Good to stretch your grey cells. Not really my thing, being a traditionalist. I think your blocks might look good quilted in darker thread.
