Personally we paint all the walls whitey white white. We take cans off the shelf and add no pigments. With white walls we have a bright canvas to decorate with. Warmth comes from the furniture, wall hangings, lighting, and accessories. White just keeps things simple.

SW Kilim beige would work w your sofa tone. This shot shows kilim beige and a warm rich brown stain that would work for your floors. These are walnut floors which is not the species you have but there are stains that replicate this color tone. Work w your floor refinisher on that.

Tried Kilim Beige on the bottom and Reticence on top and I think I will go with your suggestion. What trim color do you recomend with it?

Either white on upper and kilim beige on bottom or kilim beige on both....Just match your trim to your kitchen cabinet white. The painters can take a door off and have it matched if you don’t know the exact white.

Just wanted to share an after picture and thank you for the Kilim Baige recomendation. Went with special walnut stain.
