Thank you for reaching out. You can get samples of the peel & stick version and regular wallpaper version to get a better sense. The peel & stick looks and feels like smooth vinyl, it does not leave adhesive when it's time to take down, however the walls must be smooth and flat with no texture for it to adhere. You also get less coverage per roll on peel & stick (30 square feet).

The regular wallpaper feel like paper to the touch, there is more coverage per roll (56 square feet) and off course you would need to do the wall prep of priming and purchase wallpaper paste to hang.
