Dollar General brand Oxyclean

I looked at the ingredients listed on the back of the container while in Dollar General today. It lists only one ingredient...Sodium Percarbonate. Do you all really think this is possiable to find a oxygen bleach booster with no washing soda filler in a Dollar store?
I bought one tub for 4 dollars.

MamaP I don't know the answer to your question. However, let us know how it works for you. I just ran out of the last Vanish from South America and need an oxygen bleach. I could by some European Vanish, but I have never seen the South American version in an American stor.

I bought some of it years ago when I was babysitting at my son's house in another city. They had an LG front loader. I was trying to whiten my DIL's dingy whites. She mixes colors,(cringe) dark and light, with her whites. Didn't do the job. Not sure though that there is anyway to correct the dingy after whites have been washed with dark navy jeans.

Anything that isn't close to 100% SP causes a terrible suds in my machine. To date I have not found a good replacement for the Ecover I used to use.

I bought something on amazon that was said to be close to 100%SP and had suds lock so I know there was more filler than they were claiming.

I just added a tablespoon and hot water to a canning jar and shook...no suds other than a bit of water tension foam that was gone in a second. ..and absolutely no scent.

Hcbm...Pro Supply Outlet sells the best sodium percarbonate I've ever used...its more pure so no added carbonates, surfactants or enzymes which is how I want it since I get the rest from detergent.

Another thing Pro Supply Outlet also sells real STPP...completely different from Dafna.

I will test this DG brand out on something white and dingy....surely I have something dingy around this house...lol....I guess I'll call my son. Haha

Grapeleaves.. I LOVED Ecovers SP...those little packets were great...I'm telling you though Pro Supply Outlet SP....is the same.

How does it look compared to your order from Pro Supply? Do you think it had the same texture and or density etc?

I have been using this Sodium Percarbonate for quite a while now. It does great. It does create some suds in the Duet when mixed with detergent. Nothing major. I really like the fact that I can use half the amount of OxiClean with the same result.

Which SP are you using? The one from the dollar store or the pure from Pro Supply Outlet?
