I hate pot fillers and this would be ridiculous for once a year.

We attended a function at a multi million dollar house once. It had a faucet coming out of one of the posts near the floor in the family room. When I asked the real estate agent ( who was giving tours) what it was, he told me it was to fill the dog's water bowl if they didn't feel like going to the kitchen. Never mind that they had a dedicated dog room!

Well, a tiled shower base with a tub spout is often done in a room close to a prayer room. So, water sources in unusual spots isn't unheard of. But, I'd rather have one of those coiled hoses attaching to a close bar sink than a pot filler. I have more plants than just a once a year indoor tree.

of course i joke.... but really i would use it every day for 2-3 weeks at the least. my trees drink like crazy! i put way more water in my tree stand than i do in a pasta pot in an entire year.
