Hello everyone!

My young family of 4 (2 boys 4 and 1yo) decided to buy a new house so after a year of searching we finalized our decision to a very good deal. For the moment there is some work to be done at the property so we have plenty of time until we move in. Until then I am trying to get some idea for the basic planning and I have come to a stagnation of imagination and creativity.

The Problem.

The main problem is that the house has almost NO clean big walls, as there are windows almost EVERYWHERE which makes it really bright and open but creates a lot of design problems.

As you can see there is a big arch looks really nice and opens the space even more, but I cant think of a way to exploit all this space in front of it.

The plan is to create a dining space and a living room in the first floor.

I would love to have some comfortable couch in front of tv because we love to watch long movies laying on the couch. The Tv placement is optional (I placed it there because there are already sockets for the TV in the wall but that is not a problem)

I would be grateful if you can give me ANY ideas.
