Windows painted or oak?

I am interested in your combination of oak and white. Are the windows painted as well or are they stained. I currently have all oak and want to update, but all white would be a ton of work. Trying to find a happy medium.

Susan,

The house has a mix of painted and stained windows depending on the location. Most of the main floor windows and especially those in the main public areas of the home are all stained with stained trim. Those in the lower and upper level are painted with painted trim. So it is either one or the other.
