Recently i came across a few Honda mowers of which 2 had carb problems. Of the 4 2 Had carb problems- dirty carb. being a tinker type, I tried boiling the first carb twice with no luck. So I got to thinking the crusty mineral deposits inside I pulled out a bottle of CLR. Soaking the carbs for a few minutes and it ran like a charm. Has anyone tried this? I understand that if business u don’t have time to tinker like I do, but anyone personally try this?

1 carb the screw was stripped so I could not pull out the needle metering thingy. The second one I pulled the parts out (it looked clean but it only ran on choke) and soaked them. Both voila!
