Getting here is climbing the mountain. I thrive on light. All down hill from here!

Most of my plants are short day length bloomers but I guess they still have plenty of time to shine (pun).

Yeah! for the increasing light and sun angle. Boo! for the likely colder temps over the next 2 months. Now just if the sun would shine a little more, seems it's been pretty gray in Ohio this late fall/early winter.

Here where I am the sun is to our south now but will be making its way back north. Early part of February it'll be overhead, and after that to our north. But there's still just over 4 months of wet season left. I'm not a big fan of the dry season so never like to see it on its way back. The difference between sunrise of the shortest and longest days is only about a half hour, so not very significant.
