Trying to decide if we should build a soffit to the left of this door. (right side will be within a closet). There are 2 pipes that stick out past where we want the wall. We will have an open ceiling. We could either try to drywall around the pipes which would be difficult. Or build a soffit to hide. I assume we would want to soffit the entire back wall to make it look better? Does that make sense, soffit ~20ft even though we only need about 3 ft??? We dont want to pull the entire wall out as it's quite a bit of wasted space. Also found this way to build a soffit??
