What do you have in the front windows when the Christmas tree is not there? I would remove the mirrors and leave those spaces empty if you can put something dramatic yet understated there. Is there room to put a reading chair and lamp? Is that something you might use? I often feel that people don't emphasize windows enough, that often sofas, like it seems you have here, ignore or even de-emphasize the lovely windows.

Put up the artwork onto the wall on the right, take the six mirrors down, take more pictures and post.

Agree that the mirrors should go. As far as the draperies, if you feel it is too plain with just the blinds, then you need a wider curtain rod that extends well past the edge of the window. Put all your curtains at the ends - double up using the ones that are at the angle of the window. The way you have hung your existing curtains is not in a pleasant proportion to the window - too narrow.

I have read that the art looks best when the center of the piece is 65 inches from the floor.

It looks like you can go up a little higher - not much though.

Leaving the narrow walls blank allows the art to be the focal point. Great choice. As for the panels, you’ll get varying opinions; we all like different things. I happen to love white shutters or blinds with no panels. Always my first choice. Clean, simple lines complement the more contemporary art, too.

Remove all of the little mirrors and don't replace them with anything. Just leave those little walls blank. They are too small for anything and there is no reason to put something there which will just make your eye look at it.

The art looks hung at a good height. Your curtains look skimpy. I would double up the panels. Leave the little walls bare.

I love the shutters alone. If u must do white sheer. No mirrors there. U can cluster them in a group elsewhere.
