I still like the brighter white. I think it will look fine once installed. after all, it's not going to be lying directly on the blue tiles. it will be far enough away for the eye to combine the two tones.

if you check w/different companies, or go into a tile shop, they have walls of white subways. All of them will have slightly different hues. I've found that Home Depot Dal Tile carries a white that isn't as bright as what I used. perhaps finding a white/gray tile will compliment the aged look of your blue tiles.

Are those blue tiles going on the shower floor too? I just think once you get them on the wall, and with everything else in the room, it won't look dingy or off.

I don't like the #2 tile as it appears to be a yellow/gray hue. The top one just looks too gray. With your dark vanity, I'd want a crisper white on the shower walls.

is there anyway you can grab some samples from other companies? Tilebar will send you 5 samples for $5. they have many white tiles. CleTile, under Basics, also carries the white subways.

Get a few more samples and lets see if we can find the right white.

I agree with beth on the crisp white.

The other consideration is what color the sink and commode will be...if they are white .....white walls may be better...

I’ll look for a white tile with a grey hue for my blue floor tile. And will match with the navy vanity.
For my black, white and grey tile I’ll try to find a very light cool grey. And will add a charcoal vanity. Sorry Beth I will follow all of your advice except for the black tile or black vanity. I can’t convince myself or my husband to go for black..

You might like the tile I used. It is Olympia Tile, Piccadilly Series in the color Pearl. It only comes in gloss. It is not a flat tile, but undulates just a bit. It is 4 inches by 12 inches. Pearl is a very light gray. I used DeLorian Gray grout.

When you take pictures of your wall tile choices, try to do it with the wall tile next to and perpendicular to the floor tile so that you can see how it will look next to it. That is what I was doing with the baseboards and floor tile in this photo. I was using the pearl wall tiles to block out the browns of the Marmoleum flooring it was all sitting on.

Granite is better for vanity tops and kitchens . Marble , if cleaned with an abrasive anything product or sponge will be ruined in no time !

For the first bathroom I am between BM Amherst Gray (middle) or BM Kendall Charcoal (darkest).
The bathroom is very small so maybe the middle one that is not so dark would be better?? Counter top will be Carrara marble.

Your paint chip looks really dark in the photo. I have Kendall Charcoal on my wall and love the color.

Any chance you could take a walnut chest or dresser and use it for your vanity? The wood tones would be killer w/those tiles.

Or maybe Black? I found a small chest of drawers from the 50's on craigslist. I used it in a house we flipped. Painted it black and topped it remnant piece of statuary marble that I found. $50.

Or, Super White would go perfectly for your countertop. And a matte black faucet. wall mount.

If you’re not going with wood, then Beth is right. Kendall looks like it will be dark enough to be interesting and complement the tiles. Such a pretty combination.

Could you please tell me the width of the first mirror and where you purchased it?

Toby finding that mirror was super hard, because of the offset sink I needed very specific dimensions. I found it on Wayfair and it is 34” x 34” in polished chrome. It is very simple but nice.
The other mirror is a lot nicer. It is from RH and is a pivot one.

Karenseb vanities were costume made.
Faucets are made by Crosswater London. We mixed 2 of their lines Belgravia and Arcade.

Both bathrooms came out great! The vanities are the perfect colors. And your floors are, as expected, showstoppers!
