code will say you have to have it. I would suggest sticking something cheap up till after inspection.

Welllll, technically code isn't necessary, it's not a new home, it is the last major part of a Harvey home renovation. But of course I want it to be safe...and pretty. :) I'll keep hunting. Just a little project weary after living upstairs and remodeling entire first floor over the past year.
