Yes it's majolica....majolica is defined as opaque glazed earthen ware....but general usage usually calls things that are detailed and raised design and bright colors in that definition as well.

well it has a crack but reminded me of the vase my mom had in our antique shop when I was a kid.

I think it's charming, and old, and someone loved it enough at some point in its humble little life to have repaired it, probably because they liked it, as it probably leaked afterwards. Not something anyone would bother doing nowadays with mass-produced tat from Asia!
