Happy New Year to you, too! We had a pleasant day today and even got a little cleaning done this evening to prepare for 2019.

The rose fabric on the dog bed is really nice, and it looks very comfortable. My cousin's whippets sleep on similar beds, they love to relax on the soft places.

Happy New Year, Marlorena, and to everyone on the Forum all the best for 2019.

Happy New Year, Marlorena and everyone! I’m absolutely, positively staying home and doing nothing; quite happy about it. Marlorena, is it my eyes, or did you “fuzz” your picture a bit? :). Lisa

Lisa.. my husband took that photo with his mobile phone... it is rather fuzzy, so we can blame him....[he's had a few bevvies..]

Marlorena, Happy New Year to you and everyone, wishing you all good health, lovable pets and blooming roses in profusion.

Happy New Year to you all!

Indeed they should not. New friends are wonderful and we should always have outs eyes open to making new friends. But there is something extra special about "auld acquaintance" - they knew you way back when.

So to all my friends on the Antique Roses Forum, I wish you a very happy year in 2019!

(And that version of Auld Land Syne sounded lovely and haunting.)

rosefolly and everyone else. You said it so beautifully. I hope we all have a happy new year that resolves any issues from the old and bring happiness (and roses) to all! : )

Comtessa, you are welcome. I love the way he sang. Ya, Gaelic language gets me so tongue tie up. But love the Scottish way of singing...so different. More reason I pick this singer instead of Mariah Carey or someone Bec it is more native to me plus meaning, translation and lyrics.
Happy New Year !

Comtesse, thank you for mentioning Lisa's sad news, which I might not soon have discovered otherwise.

So terribly sad and so soon...

Jin, thanks for the video, I enjoyed it too...
