master suite remodel

First, happy new year!

Big dreams this year - a master suite remodel. I've tried to embed pictures of the current layout (on top) and my working layout (below) of our second story master suite, and would love advice from here. As you can see, the current layout is a little off with one giant 25 ft x 12 ft room that we currently use as the nursery. The previous owners combined two small bedrooms into a single room. The current master bathroom is dated and not functioning well for us - two small closets, a small bathtub, and a strange sink and countertop arrangement. As an FYI - yes, a bathtub is a necessity. If at all possible I'd like to keep the hallway placement undisturbed.

The remodel addresses a lot of these issues but I have a few concerns:

(1) corner shower. will it be cold?

(2) is there a better use of space for the master closet? I worry with the doors and window that it will be a large closet but with limited usable space, but I've looked at other layouts without sucess.

(3) will there be problems getting things in and out of the room with the door to the master bedroom positioned like it is?

(4) is the master bedroom too small? approx 12 ft x 14 ft.

I'm open to completely new layouts as well. What do you think?
