Good to hear from you. Maybe your plants don’t look great right now, but you have figured out how to keep them over the winter they always bounce back for you in the summer.

i am so fortunate to get some winter sun. It makes a big difference to have some good light.

One you gave me.

First time I've seen one bloom from the ground. Has two other bloom stocks from crown centers like normal.

Usually the Bantal's bloom during this time of year. But not this year. Maybe spring when bees can pollinate them.

Wow, these look pretty good to me! That first one must be Fernwood. Remember how tiny they were when we got them. Mine has never bloomed. But there are several plants crowded together.

What is that green one in the second picture? I have a huge on that looks similar. I think it was labeled Jaboa or hybrid ayo.

Thanks Barb. Yes it's Fernwood. That one out grew the others i have and sad that it bloomed. i wanted it to grow larger but now it's finished. It is sending up new pups already.

That second one is S. senegambica. Grows like crazy and blooms every year at this time.

Your first pix is stunning Barb, I remain a sucker for variegate stripes, so handsome, and your last pic too.

I don't have anything that pretty or dramatic, But this little pup from October, is now a lovely older leaf, beautifully marked.

Rest of it looks beat up but nicely striped.

My new Hahnii Jade Dwarf is having a pup, I went to pull a dried leaf & found it today.

A nice surprise.

The variegated masoniana in the first pic looked very sad all last summer. For some strange reason it put out those creamy leaves in the fall. Glad I didn’t give up on it.

Let me know your secret on growing hahniis. I have always had bad luck with them. So easy to rot.

i think your first two pictures are the same as my second. Mine is labeled Tenzan aka Siam Silver. Is yours the same.?

Barb, when you find that secret for growing hahnii's please let us know. I think we all have some trouble with them, well maybe Woodnative doesn't. I think you must keep them warmer and more light than our other ones. But I still have trouble.

Thanks! I am just looking around and thinking these plants all need to go outside. We have been having some heavy rains and storming, so I am holding out a little longer.

Same here. This is the first May I can think of it’s been questionably too cool to put my plants out. I have mine on the sun porch for now.

This weather has been crazy this year. Night temps in 40s and 50s this week. I made the mistake of carrying plants outside, but had to bring them back in. I am too old for this!
