Design Dilemma Home Decorating Furniture

suggestions for something g behind sofa

I am getting a sofa table for further sofa for my blue and white lamp but I need something to complete the look behind the sofa in the foreground. Would a low bench or two, etc work? Suggestions!! It’s not too far from my island but there is plenty of room for something. It looks incomplete to me. I want a cozy beach room!

Can you post a photo? When I think nautical I lean towards baskets, over benches. I'm sure benches could work too. IMO opinion some baskets below the table and some cool beach decor on the table's top would be something to consider! Good luck!
