Consider an automated system for your swimming pool only.

We are dealers of Jandy products, which manufacturer a computer system that will allow you control all functions of the swimming pool and any other devices added to it.

This system will allow you to program filter times, auto cleaner, set heat temps, view water temps and outdoor temps, among other things. You can control the system from a hardwired keypad, a handheld remote or from an app on your smart or from any computer or tablet. You could use all 3 if you wish.

The iAqualink is the optional system that allows control from your smart phone.

If you opt for a salt water system from Jandy, this system will be part of the rolling display status of the pool equipment showing the salinity level and the output rate which is adjustable.

The issue I see using your existing automation system for the pool, is the service aspect for a pool service company. We are familiar with pool automation systems not so much home automation systems.

The pool equipment should be a separate control system.

There are third party gear that interfaces into the Hue system. Here's a color-changing ballast that I used in my last house that interfaced perfectly with Hue. I used it to control 15 feet of color-changing LED tape light under my bar. The current plan is to use one to control lights for the pond we're putting in.

Philips also has their own outdoor lights now, but I haven't used them.
