I have a small master bedroom. There is one window and a door to the deck right next to the window. There is maybe 3 inches between the two. The window is set in the wall about 2-3 inches higher than the top of the door. The door is not a slider, but a regular entrance/exit door that opens into the room. I'm redecorating and trying to figure out best option for curtains. What I inherited from the previous owner and have been using is blinds and curtains directly on the door and curtains set higher next to the door. My new curtains are more substantial and I'm not sure they will look good in same arrangement. Ideas? Curtains on the door have to allow the door to open and there is not room to slide them to the right on an extra long rod...nor would it look right. Such problems...lol.
