Do you have to have at 65" TV. Why not a 55" and give yourself more breathing room at the desks?

Like most, we want it all! Your suggestion is good, except it won't provide a large enough tv for viewing from 9-10 ft back on the sofa... When you look at the sites that give ideal tv size: distance, they recommend a 65" tv at 10 ft distance. Or even 70".

HI -- Bonnie... Like most condo owners your trying to put 8 pounds of stuff into a 4 pound bag ! So hang the tv on the wall with an articulating bracket , then have a desk top across that whole wall at 29 inches high with a storage unite or desk storage /drawers under in the center . Leave a proper amount area under each end as the desk seating area . You can build in all the remaining wall area above the desktop around the TV with storage cabinets to make it all look built in. Have all the cabinetry the same color or finish . But keep it all white / light toned . You could also have folding panels that close over the TV attached with the builtins .If you have the whole wall panel look , possibly the front can be done to look like a big modern painting or mural or mirrored Paint the wall behind the TV to the TV 's color ( if it is black eg.). And the wall under the desk top too. Have a modular sofa and swivel chairs and any other furniture could be double duty features Being the place is so small maybe best to have the whole place all in one light color as much as possible .

Very helpful comments. And spot on about trying to squeeze alot in. I like the idea of having one floating shelf across at 29"--probably white... and maybe with pencil drawers. Simple, clean, not fussy. The articulating bracket could be a good idea if we build something out around the tv; prefer not to see the bracket behind the set when it is as flat up against the wall as it can go. I think that's the way to go. Thanks!
