Thanks for giving those of us in the lower zones some hope. My yard has been covered in snow since the end of November.

Wow, wonderful to see signs of spring. I am not looking for signs of spring yet, I will wait for March then we will get dumped with more snow.

Thanks Pieter. I'll only be seeing those cuties in June. Snow and snow and more snow for me for a while still.

First sign for me is the W2 form for doing taxes. I'll keep procrastinating and it will be April before I know it.

Hellebores are flowering well, daffodils are pushing through, some of the primroses are flowering and I've just spotted the early snowdrops flowering under a hedge. Temperature of 46º

From Thursday temperatures dropping to mid 30's and snow and frost in the forecast.

Must be nice, Dave. We're gearing up for some severe arctic cold here in Northeast USA for a bit.

And here in the Midwest as well!

Nothing like 12" of snow in 2 days and drop to -20F to think spring is around the corner.

I thought Spring used to be capitalized, guess that rule changed as I was recently corrected.

Will be blooming Feb 20 here providing there is no snow on the ground/ probably blooms under snow but I have not tried to dig LOL

As you can see, Snowdrops do quite well in the snow...They'll go a little limp but as soon as it's above freezing they firm up again.
